60.8pc declared successful in FBISE 9th class examination

ISLAMABAD – The pass percentage of the result of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-I Annual Examination 2008 remained 60.82, which was announced on Saturday by Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE).

Total 56,500 regular candidates including Science and Humanities Group had appeared in the examination, of whom 37,515 were declared passed with 66.4 percentage.

Likewise, 8,465 private candidates had appeared in the examination, of whom 1,998 were declared successful with a percentage of 23.6.
The overall pass percentage of students including regular and private remained 60.8 as out of 64,965 students 39,513 were declared successful.

The result cards of regular candidates are being dispatched to them through their respective institutions while those of private candidates at the addresses provided by them in the admission forms.

The result cards of the Northern Areas are being sent to the FBISE Sub-Office, Gilgit, and may be collected from there.

The candidates failing in one or more papers may reappear in the same along with papers of SSC Part-II Annual Examination 2009.

A candidate who is not satisfied with his result has the facility available of cancelling the result in one or two or all papers of SSC Part-I and reappear in these along with the SSC Part-II in Annual Examination 2009.

Applications for re-checking of papers shall be received within 30 days of declaration of result that is by August 18, 2008.

FBISE SSC Part-I composite result

Islamabad, July 10, 2008: Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) would announce result of Secondary School Certificate Annual (Composite) Examination, 2008 on Monday. While result of SSC Part-I would be announced on Saturday, July 19.

The result will be available on the Board’s Website at www.fbise.edu.pk and telephone number 9250651, 9250666 and 9250608.

In addition, the result will also be available on SMS unified code 5050.

The candidates will be required to send SMS in the following format. FB[ roll number].

BISE Hyderabad announces results of SSC-1 Science group

HYDERABAD: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Hyderabad, announced on Friday the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC Part-1) Class IX Annual Examination of Science Group held in April 2007. The Controller of Examination, BISE, Professor Mohsin Atta, announced the result through a gazette, which said 43,356 candidates enrolled for the examination while 43,200 appeared in it. The candidates who passed in five papers were 35,160, while 4,487 passed in four papers, 2,095 in three papers, 528 in two papers, 194 in one paper. Those who failed in all papers were 238, the announcement said and added that the results of 203 candidates had been withheld for various reasons.

63.9% pass FBISE SSC supplementary examinations

Islamabad: Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Wednesday announced result of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) supplementary examination with pass percentage of 63.91 per cent.

A press release issued here said that out of total 10986 candidates, 7002 were declared successful in the examination held in September this year.

The candidates can also inquire about their results through SMS unified code 7771 in the format of FB [roll number].

Besides, the result has also been made available on the Federal Board webiste- www.fbise.edu.pk.

All those candidates whose results have been withheld for want of fee or eligibility are advised to resolve these discrepancies.

It said the result cards shall be despatched to candidates on addresses given in admission forms soon while for the candidates from abroad, the result cards would be sent to heads of their respective institutions. Similarly, candidates of Northern Areas can obtain their result cards from the sub-office Gilgit.
