BIEK supplementary results

Karachi, March 12: The results of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part-II Science General Group and Pre-Engineering Supplementary Examinations 2009, was declared by the Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi (BIEK) on Thursday.

According to Controller of Examinations, BIEK, Prof. Agha Akber Mirza, 420 male candidates appeared in the Science General Supplementary Exams. The total number of those registered was 435 out of which 195 candidates passed the exams and overall pass percentage was 46.43 per cent, he said.

Meanwhile, 356 female candidates were registered out of which 340 appeared, out of which 146 were declared passed. The overall pass percentage was 42.94 per cent, he said.

On the other hand, 5,849 male candidates registered for the Pre-Engineering supplementary examinations and 5,679 appeared, Mirza said. Out of which 2,696 were declared pass and the overall pass percentage was 47.47 per cent, he added.

The total number of female candidates registered was 1,710 while 1,649 appeared in the exams, adding he said that 655 passed the exams. The overall pass percentage was 39.72 per cent.

KARACHI BIEK results

KARACHI, March 4: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) on Thursday announced the results of HSC home economics group supplementary examination-2009.

A total of 141 candidates appeared in the examinations and 77 of them were declared successful. The board has informed the candidates that the marks sheets will be issued after two weeks.—APP

Karachi Intermediate Board BIEK results

Karachi: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) will announce the result of higher secondary school certificate (HSC) part-II pre-medical group annual examination 2009 on Wednesday.

This was stated by the board’s chairman, Prof Anwar Ahmed Zai, here on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has announced that the enrolment forms of SSC part-I (Class IX) 2010 session science and general groups (regular candidates) and the SSC registration forms (private candidates) will be accepted from August 10 to September 12.

The forms could be submitted from September 14 to 30 with a late fee of Rs100 and till Oct 17 with a late fee of Rs200.

BIEK Class XII (Pre-Eng) supple result

Karachi: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) on Tuesday declared results of HSC Part-II Supplementary Examination-2008 of Science (pre-engineering, pre-medical and general) and Home Economics groups.

According to a BIEK notification, of the 5,856 male candidates who appeared in the pre-engineering exams, 2,121 passed. Similarly, out of 1,751 female candidates who took the exam only 585 were declared successful. The pass percentage of male and female candidates remained 36.22 and 33.41, respectively.

No candidate could pass the exam in Grade A-I. Ten students passed the exams in Grade A, 156 in Grade B, 1,082 in Grade C, 1,409 in Grade D and 49 students were declared successful in Grade E.

In the pre-medical group exams, 1,417 male candidates appeared. Of them, 453 were declared successful. Of the total 3,727 female candidates who appeared in the exam, 1,278 passed. The pass percentage of male and female candidates stood at 31.97 and 34.29, respectively. No candidate got Grade A-1. Five candidates passed the exams in Grade A, 97 in Grade B, 859 in Grade C, 756 in Grade D and 14 in Grade E.

Of the 465 male candidates who appeared in the Science General group exams, only 235 were declared passed. Similarly, 363 female candidates took the exams. Of them 115 passed. Their overall pass percentage stood at 31.68.

No candidate got A-1 or A grades in the exams. Thirteen passed the supplementary exams in Grade B, 171 in Grade C, 158 in Grade D and eight in Grade E.

In all 131 candidates of Home Economics group took the supplementary examinations. Of them 68 were declared successful.

BIEK announces results of HSC-I

KARACHI: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) on Friday announced the results of HSC-I (pre-engineering) annual examinations 2007.

According to the statistics of the results, a total of 14,677 male candidates appeared in the exams, of which 5,056 (34.65 per cent) were declared successful in all the six papers, 2,019 (13.84 per cent) in five papers, 1,987 (13.62 per cent) in four papers, 3,195 (21.89 per cent) in three papers, 1,494 (10.24 per cent) in two and 722 (4.95 per cent) in one paper.

Some 4,831 girl candidates took part in the examination, of them 2,236 (46.5 per cent) managed to clear all the six papers, 790 (16.43 per cent) were declared successful in five papers, 698 (14.51 per cent) in four papers, 772 (16.05 per cent) in three papers, 259 (5.39 per cent) in two and 67 (1.39 per cent) in one paper.

As many as 19,928 candidates had got themselves registered with the board out of which 19,508 appeared in exams. The board withheld results of 106 candidates of which 84 were males and 22 females.

Science General
The BIEK also announced the results of HSC-I (Science General) annual examinations 2007. According to official statistics, as many as 835 male candidates appeared in the exams out of which 65 cleared all the six papers, 168 were declared successful in five papers, 255 passed four papers, 161 cleared three papers, 95 managed to clear two papers and 73 cleared only one paper.

A total of 835 female students appeared in the examination and 188 were declared successful in all the six papers, 249 cleared five papers, 297 were declared successful in four papers, 74 in three, 21 in two and only 4 managed to clear only one paper.

The total pass percentage remained 15.31 per cent in six papers, 25.24 in five, 33.41 in four, 14.23 in three, 7.02 in two and 4.66 per cent in one paper.

A total of 1,712 candidates got themselves registered of which 1,670 turned up to the examination halls. The board withheld the results of 18 candidates of which 11 were males and 7 females.
